Global Crisis is a mod for Yuri's Revenge inspired by Tiberian Sun and Tiberian Dawn. Using the most modern development tools, the mod tells a story about the modern world and contemporary military conflicts involving real countries and their armies in an apocalyptic world engulfed in chaos due to Tiberium and humanity's actions.
Despite the fact that Global Crisis development began at least in 2017, there isn't much information about the mod's content. It's known that there will be at least two opposing factions: USA and Russia, but new factions will appear in the future, which will possibly clash in the final battle for resources and the remnants of a dying world rapidly being consumed by Tiberium.
Visually, Global Crisis looks stunning, but not much is known about the mod itself. It's known that the Westwood Altering Editor (WAE) is used to create maps, which makes them so large-scale and realistic.

In 2023, closed beta testing of the mod began, the author was looking for new mappers and finishing what wasn't completed, but the release date for Global Crisis is unknown, even though development has been going on for a very long time. And the author explains why: the mod is constantly being reworked and improved, which is clearly visible in this example of an older and newer screenshot.
