Red Counter-Strike is a mod for Yuri's Revenge that makes the game less futuristic and adds numerous real military equipment from the Cold War and subsequent period (1960s-2000s), while retaining elements from Red Alert 2, such as prisms, Tesla technology, etc.
Red Counter-Strike expands the original RA2 armor system (using ARES), introducing more unit roles and making a mixed army necessary for success (tanks, aircraft, support, etc.).
In addition to combat vehicles, the mod introduces new civilian structures: advanced power plants, silos, oil and ore processing facilities, with varying economic returns and bonuses when captured.
Red Counter-Strike has been in development since at least 2022 and at this time the release date is unknown.
