Scarlet Rivensin: The Ruiner is a dark total conversion for Doom 3 based on the Dhewm 3 port, played from a third-person perspective where you take on the role of a harbinger of death. Despite its strengths, the mod has its shortcomings. The story is virtually absent, which can leave the player uncertain about the purpose of what's happening. Minor bugs and performance drops also occur, particularly on open levels.
Nevertheless, Scarlet Rivensin: The Ruiner remains one of the most impressive mods for Doom 3, thanks to its atmosphere, visual style, and engaging gameplay. It is a project with great potential that is already capable of delivering a vivid and memorable gaming experience.
