Half-Life - Full Audio Remaster is a modification for Sven Co-op and the Xash3D engine, created to precisely remaster all low-quality sound effects and dialogues from Half-Life, Blue Shift, and Opposing Force. Monster, machinery, scientist, weapon, and even footstep sounds have been manually cleaned and restored to full 24/44.1 kHz quality.

Installation Instructions addon Half-Life - Full Audio Remaster

Simply drag the gfx, maps, scripts, and sound folders into the svencoop_addon folder in \steamapps\common\Sven Co-op

Since these are just sound files, they can also be used with other engines like Xash3D.

They also work with MetaAudio (OpenAL), though there are issues with incorrect sound attenuation at a distance. The author doesn’t know why this happens.

Do not use them to modify the original Half-Life 1. The original GoldSrc engine does not support high-quality audio.
