Portal: Google Translate Edition completely reworks the text and audio components. All dialogue, subtitles, and commentary were repeatedly passed through various languages via Google Translate and brought back to English, resulting in distorted meaning throughout.
The gameplay remains unchanged, but the experience shifts dramatically: GLaDOS, the turrets, and Ratman's notes sound like a broken AI, delivering strange, illogical, and sometimes disturbing phrases. The mod focuses not on new mechanics, but on a surreal atmosphere and pure absurdity.
How to install a mod Portal: Google Translate Edition
Move the "Portal GTE" folder to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\sourcemods" (or the folder where your Steam library is located). If the "sourcemods" folder is missing, simply create it.
Restart Steam.The mod should appear in your library.
