Features
Complete overhaul of disciplines and balance. All vampire abilities have been modified or replaced with new ones. Unique variants have been added, such as Dominate – Forgetful Mind (disappearing from sight), Dominate – Enslave (subjugating NPCs and turning them into blood donors), and Thaumaturgy – Theft of Vitae (draining blood at a distance). Most old disciplines feel completely new.
Modified regeneration system. Health recovers slowly and is barely affected by feeding. Players must frequently use the Blood Heal ability to survive combat.
Blood loss mechanics. Vampires lose one blood point every three minutes, even during dialogues. This forces regular hunting, and blood reserves no longer stay full throughout missions. Blood loss reduces character health.
Hunger and frenzy. When blood level drops to one point, the character enters uncontrollable frenzy every 30 seconds until fed. Maintaining humanity becomes much harder, but is important for upholding the Masquerade.
Updated character histories. Character backgrounds have been reworked for better balance and depth. Each history now has tangible pros and cons that affect gameplay.
New models and textures. Most game skins have been reworked: character appearance has been improved, especially female models. Some NPCs, cars, and environmental objects have been changed.
Fixed eyes. Now only vampires possess the distinctive gaze, while humans look like humans. Clan Gangrel received a distinctive feature — glowing greenish-yellow eyes.
New music. Some bars, such as the Asylum in Santa Monica, have new music tracks added to enhance the atmosphere.
Development of this mod was discontinued long ago, but a newer Reborn version of the mod exists.
