Duke Nukem 3D: Savior of Babes is a large-scale modification built on EDuke32 that transforms the game into a maximally aggressive and spectacular action experience. Duke becomes significantly stronger, gains reworked weapons, new upgrades, power-ups, and abilities as he battles hordes of aliens and saves the babes.

At the core of Duke Nukem 3D: Savior of Babes lies a completely overhauled arsenal: weapons are not only more powerful but visually "heavier", with expressive designs and alternate fire modes. In combat, you also have access to abilities such as bullet time, airstrikes, and power-ups that allow you to approach combat situations in different ways.
Battles are built around enemy hordes — numerous aliens and new enemy types make each level tense and demanding in terms of adaptation. Despite Duke's enhanced power, the game never becomes a mindless shooting gallery: you still need to read your surroundings, use abilities wisely, and find the right approach to each encounter.
The visual and audio components deserve special mention. Reworked high-resolution textures and sprites make the game more pleasing to the eye, while the sound design and music create a cohesive and rich atmosphere befitting the beefed-up weaponry.
Overall, Savior of Babes is excellent Duke Nukem 3D on steroids — a kind of Brutal Doom set in Duke's world.
