Installation Instructions engine DevilutionX

  1. Extract the files in the zip

  2. Copy DIABDAT.MPQ from the CD or GOG-installation (or extract it from the GoG installer) to the DevilutionX folder.

  3. To run the Diablo: Hellfire expansion you will need to also copy hellfire.mpq, hfmonk.mpq, hfmusic.mpq, hfvoice.mpq.

  4. To play the game with Chinese, Japanese, or Korean text, you need to download a special font file called fonts.mpq from us or from here, and place it in the game folder.

    To use a specific voiceover, download the appropriate voice file from us or from here.

    • For Polish: pl.mpq

    • For Russian: ru.mpq

    • For Spanish: es.mpq

  5. Run devilutionx.exe

  6. Play

Multiplayer

TCP/IP requires the host to expose port 6112. All games are encrypted and password protected.

Save Games and configurations

The configurations and save games are located in:

C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\diasurgical\devilution
