Catharsis is a short but atmospheric mod for Half-Life that tells the story of an unnamed scientist trying to escape from Black Mesa during the disaster.

Catharsis is packed with numerous diverse combat scenarios, including encounters with vortigaunts and battles between HECU forces and aliens.
Despite being short, Catharsis takes only 15-20 minutes to complete, but the mod leaves a vivid impression and is a worthy addition to the original game.
