Heart of Evil: Napalm Edition is a remake of the original game Heart of Evil. Heart of Evil: Napalm Edition brings the classic experience back for both veterans and newcomers. The team worked hard to preserve the original vision, updating the mod with improved models, skins, animations, maps with new effects, gameplay tweaks, and refined NPC and weapon code.
A fully community-driven project, it’s completely non-commercial.
For those new to Heart of Evil
You play as Captain Percy Freeman, a special forces officer sent to eliminate the deranged Colonel Kurtz. Betrayed early in the mission, you must reach Kurtz on foot while fighting off rogue U.S. soldiers and deadly Huey helicopters armed with guns, rockets, and troop deployments. Careful planning and heavy weapons like the M79 or RPG-7 are essential to bring them down.
Beyond enemy troops lies the war’s darkest horror: zombies. Explosives can kill them; other weapons only knock them back briefly.
The remake keeps the vast open areas of the original while making puzzles simpler and navigation clearer with glowing objective markers.
Saddle up, gear up, and step once more into the world of Heart of Evil…
