Rise of Mankind: A New Dawn

Rise of Mankind: A New Dawn is a global continuation and evolution of the original Rise of Mankind mod, transforming Civilization IV: Beyond the Sword into a significantly deeper and more expansive strategy game.

The mod's main feature is its vast and carefully rebalanced technology tree, extending historical progress from antiquity to the far future by adding dozens of new eras, technologies, buildings, wonders, and units. Development becomes more gradual, and the game pace can be stretched to "eternity," where every discovery feels like a true achievement.

The mod introduces a revolution and empire stability system: dissatisfied cities can rebel, break away, and form new states. Minor civilizations appear, barbarians evolve, country names change dynamically, and vassal assimilation becomes possible. Internal politics becomes no less important than external expansion.

Diplomacy is greatly expanded: embassies, right of passage, war reparations, new trade mechanics, and flexible foreign policy. The improved AI has an extended "memory" and behaves noticeably more intelligently both in warfare and development.

The game supports adaptive difficulty, advanced automation, flexible interface customization, and even an optional unit-per-tile limit chosen by the player. With MegaCivPack, dozens or even hundreds of new civilizations and leaders are added.
