Installation Instructions mod Essential Stronghold

  1. Extract the files from the archive.

  2. Make a backup copy of the game folder.

  3. Place the file Stronghold Crusader.exe and the contents of the Stronghold Europe HD folder into the root directory of the game.

    • (Optional) Place the contents of the Optional Reshade folder into the root directory of the game if you want to play using the Reshade program.

    • (Optional) Place the contents of the Optional Louder Lord Voices folder into the root directory of the game if you want the lords' voices in the game to be louder.

  4. Enjoy the game!

Russian localization of the mod:
After installing the mod, place the contents of the Russian Patch.zip archive into the Stronghold Europe HD folder in the root directory of the game.
