Companion Mod Core Edition is a revival of the Companion Mod for VTMB, which allows you to recruit NPCs to accompany you in the game. You can also control your companions, using their abilities and disciplines, as well as place them in your haven. Additionally, you can recruit ghouls.

Installation Instructions mod Companion Mod Core Edition

Run the installer and follow the instructions to install the mod in the game folder.

During installation, you can select additional modules:

Original NPC reskins

The original mod offered additional reskins for Yukie, VV, Lily, and Tourette. They can be randomly selected in the companion dialogue system. They do not overwrite the standard reskins, which will always be available (and are used by default by these NPCs).

Original PC reskins

The original mod offered alternative appearances for all player character models (except male Brujah). They will overwrite the standard appearances (except male Brujah), and no backup is provided.

Requested companions

While the new version of the mod offered a small selection of companions for the sake of realism, requests were made to make more companions available for unlocking. Over time, the number of unlockable companions by request grew to 36. Use this option (which will remain optional after installation) at your discretion.
