Diablo Infernity is based on the DevilutionX engine and aims to enhance the gameplay of the original Diablo. The mod allows you to import your character from the classic version and continue playing! Currently, Infernity includes both the original campaign and an additional difficulty level.
Until you reach the new difficulty, you’ll experience the classic gameplay with quality-of-life improvements—such as item highlighting, monster health bars, extra inventory tabs, and more.
The real challenge begins after level 30, when the "Hell" and "Inferno" difficulty levels become available. In Inferno mode, magical and unique items can receive a third affix that ignores standard rules—allowing, for example, a ring with +2 to spells or 300% damage to demons.
Features
New Inferno Difficulty
A new difficulty mode called Inferno has been added. Sincediabloui.dllhasn’t been reverse-engineered, it replaces the Hell difficulty using a workaround: just create a file namedenable_infernoin your Diablo folder and select "Hell" in the difficulty menu.Triple-Affix Items
Special items with three affixes can drop in Inferno. The third affix appears only when both a prefix and suffix are already present. These extra affixes ignore regular affix rules, allowing powerful and previously impossible combinations.Vanilla Compatibility
You can import your original (vanilla) character into Infernity. However, transferring a character back to vanilla may result in item corruption, as Inferno items have expanded affix tables and higher levels (including affixes previously only available via Wirt).Quality of Life Improvements
