Installation Instructions fan Game LibreQuake

  1. To play LibreQuake, you will need an engine to run the game. Two engines are recommended: IronWail and FTEQW, especially if you plan to play both Deathmatch and singleplayer modes. Other suitable engines include Quakespasm Spiked (QSS), QuakeSpasm, and VkQuake.

  2. Move the id1 (or lq1) folder into the root directory of the engine.

  3. Use the engine's executable to launch LibreQuake.

  4. Play!
