BFSpack is a program for unpacking .bfs archives from FlatOut 2 and FlatOut Ultimate Carnage.

The mod does not change the game's text, interface, or voice acting. It is compatible with all language versions.
The program contains two sets of tools: BFS2packxxx.exe and BFS3packxxx.exe. BFS2packxxx.exe works with FlatOut 2 .bfs files, while BFS3packxxx.exe works with FlatOut Ultimate Carnage. The same applies to bfs2pack_xxx.ini and bfs3pack_xxx.ini
How the BFSpack program works
Unpacking
Run BFSxxxpack_smart_gui.exe
Drag and drop your .bfs archive into the window that appears
Select the directory where the extracted files will be placed
Packing
Run BFSxxxpack_smart_gui.exe
Drag and drop your folder into the window that appears (the folder must have the same structure as data.bfs)
Select the directory where the .bfs archive will be placed
How to apply your .bfs archive to the game
Make sure your .bfs archive is located in the game's root directory
Open the filesystem file in the game's root directory with any text editor. There you will see a structure like this, and at the end write the name of your file, then save the file. Note that the last line should not be empty.

There is another version of the program that works with FlatOut 2 .bfs files — BFS Unpacker 2. What's the difference? Each program may work differently with various game versions; sometimes everything works fine, and sometimes problems may occur.
