Features
Further balancing of the three new generals and other gameplay aspects.
Rewritten AI for skirmishes and Generals Challenge to make it noticeably more difficult.
Optimization of visual effects, especially missile smoke trails, as well as removal of blood effects.
Increases diversity of playstyles and build orders, such as viable early GLA airfield, diverse USA air force and infantry, tier 2 aircraft and amphibious units.
Unification and fixing of conflicting hotkeys.
Bug fixes — for example, aircraft reloading in the air or lack of automatic unit selection when dismounting from a combat bike.
Strengthening thematic differences between factions: for example, Demo general's shells deal more damage to buildings; Laser general focuses on kinetic energy; Air Force uses airburst systems; Tank general gets more effective long-range vehicles, etc.
Expanding firestorm logic so that different units can contribute: for example, if an Inferno tank and MiG hit the same spot, a firestorm occurs; similarly — General Alexander's Aurora and Tomahawks create plasma storms.
Complete overhaul of garrisons and clearing weapons: clearing is no longer instant and requires "burning through" the building; garrison unit bonuses are weakened, and building durability and capacity are changed.
Jet aircraft have become more durable and faster, increasing combat range and making air duels truly playable.
Rework of Armor General into Synergetics General: focus on special forces, IFVs, veteran enhancement, drones and off-map deployment/reinforcement.
Reduced damage from suicide units against vehicles, but slightly increased against buildings; GLA bomb trucks are faster by default but slow down when explosives are installed.
Redesigned general ability points system: rank 1 abilities now unlock more than one unit; strike abilities become more expensive as level increases (1, 2, 3 points); each new rank now gives 2 points instead of 1.
All large helicopters can now collect resources and perform paradrop operations; each faction is planned to have at least one rappelling unit: USA has Rangers, Marines and Burton; GLA has Hijackers and Saboteurs; China's roster is still being refined.
Alternative resource gathering methods: air, tracked and amphibious collectors for each faction.
New set of tech buildings: RotR tech complex, as well as a turbine wind installation that increases GLA's chances under ShockWave's harsh nerfs.
Height now affects firing range of some units and weapons — artillery, long-range infantry, heavy tanks and certain weapon systems.
