Disciples 2: Rise of the Mod for Rise of the Elves, which reworks units, adds new leader upgrades that increase their significance, changes spells, balance, and much more.

All changes in Disciples 2: Rise of the Mod are aimed at refreshing the game. All experience requirements have been adjusted: neutral units level up faster, while tier 3+ units require more experience. Hit chances have been reduced, difficulty settings and enemy economy have been reworked, and the cost of high-level buildings has been decreased.
Units with secondary damage (such as poison) have received normalized damage scaling values, and all spells have been changed: for example, "Tangle" is now tier 2 and reduces movement by 50%. Researching tier 3+ spells has become cheaper, and numerous texts and weapon names have been updated.
Lords and leaders have received new abilities. All leaders now have more options when leveling up, the starting gold threshold has been lowered, and dynamic bonuses have been reworked. Initial initiative now depends on new abilities rather than First Strike.
Each faction has undergone significant changes. The Empire has received new units and reworked abilities, including the Exorcist, Living Armor, and improved Clerics. The Mountain Clans, Undead Hordes, Legions of the Damned, and Elven Alliance have been reworked: initiatives, damage, abilities, and mechanics of unique units have been changed, and new effects such as Frostbite, Shatter, Blister, and Death Damage have been added.
Neutral units, including dragons, the kraken, yeti, and titans, have become more dangerous and received reworked stats.
How to install a mod Disciples 2: Rise of the Mod
Move the contents of the archive to the game's root directory
Launch Discipl2.exe
Play!
This patch is not compatible with previously saved quests and sagas!
If you have the Steam version of the game
This patch contains new files that are not present in the Steam version of the game. To install the mod, you need to:
Download the GCFScape program
Then use GCFScape to extract files from the VPK folder to your game's root directory
After that, you can install the mod as usual by copying and pasting the contents of the archive
You may want to make a backup of your original files. You do NOT need previous patches.
