Xash3D FWGS - a fork of the Xash3D engine aimed at improving compatibility, performance, and functionality for running GoldSrc-based games such as Half-Life and its mods.

Unpack the archive into any folder.
Place the contents of the valve folder from the game's root directory into this folder.
Run xash3d.exe.
Play!
Note: If you have a non-x86 compatible CPU or you are using the 64-bit version of the engine, you may need to compile the Half-Life SDK.
