Installation Instructions mod FlatOut 2 Time Trial Ghosts

1. Make sure you have game version 1.2 installed, as this is the only version compatible with this plugin (exe file size: 2,990,080 bytes).

   • If you have the Steam version of the game, to get this old version, open the game properties in the Steam client, go to the "Betas" tab, and select the appropriate beta version. The game will then automatically download the required version.

2. Extract the archive and copy the files into the game folder.

3. Launch the game and start any race; now you will have a ghost to compete against instead of AI opponents.

You can edit the file FlatOut2TimeTrialGhosts_gcp.toml to adjust the settings as you like:

• ed = true # Set this to false to disable the time trial mode & ghosts, useful if you only want the input display

• ghost_visuals = 2 # 0 - Always show the entire car, 1 - always show the car as a ghost, 2 - only make the car a ghost when near it

• disable_props = false # Removes all dynamic objects from the map

• nitro_option = 1 # 0 - none (0х), 1 - normal (1х), 2 - double (2х), 3 - infinite

• show_best_times = true # Displays the best lap times you've ever achieved for a track on the top right in-game

• show_best_times_in_session = true # Displays the best lap times you've achieved in the current session on the top right in-game

• load_mismatched_replays = false # Loads replays with matching names even if they were actually created using different settings (e.g. nitro, upgrades, car, etc.)

Extras:

• view_replays = false # View & spectate replays for a track, including inputs

• always_show_input_display = false # Always show the replay input display, even when driving
