In Half-Life: Invasion, the player takes on the role of a marine carrying out a mission in the Black Mesa research complex. The mod is known for its cinematic scenes, unique levels, and focus on the military perspective of Half-Life events.
Half-Life: Sudden Invasion is a complete remaster of the original Half-Life: Invasion modification (2003), which gradually develops through a series of releases:
Release 1 (Ready) – "Visual Rework" (also known as "Model Rework"). At this stage, a complete visual upgrade was made: updated models, textures, UV mappings, HUD sprites, and all text elements (HUD and textures) were translated to English.
Release 2 (In development) – "Gameplay Rework" (also known as "Code Rework")
Release 3 (In development) – "Mapping Rework"
Release 4 (In development) – "Final Edition" (definitive version of the mod with all fixes and changes)
Development continues. Bug fixing and structuring ideas remain a priority. The team strives to preserve the atmosphere of the original mod while giving it a fresh visual aesthetic.
