HoMM3 ERA 3 (WoG) is a redesigned and expanded edition of the Wake of Gods mod for Heroes of Might and Magic III. ERA fixes numerous WoG bugs, adds XXL maps, a convenient mod manager, an improved map editor, enhanced graphics and interface, new landscape types, extended settings, and modern modding tools.

Installation Instructions mod HoMM3 ERA 3 (WoG)

  1. You will need Heroes of Might and Magic III in either Shadow of Death or Complete editions.

  2. Create a new folder and copy the following game files into it:

    • All ".dll" files from the game's root directory

    • The "MP3" folder

    • The "Data" folder with files:

    • "H3bitmap.lod"

    • "H3sprite.lod"

    • "Heroes3.snd"

    • "VIDEO.VID"

    • (Optional): the "Maps" folder

  3. Move the contents of the mod archive into the folder you created

  4. Go to the "Tools" folder and run "install.bat" to automatically install all necessary mods. Or go to "Tools/Mod Manager/Mod Manager.exe" to manually select mods (the "WOG" mod is required)

  5. Launch "HD_Launcher.exe" to configure the game. You can also launch it from here by clicking the "Play" button. After configuration, you can also use "h3era HD.exe" to start the game

  6. Play!
