The year is 2055. More than thirty years after the events of Zero Hour, Earth experiences a catastrophic series of meteorite strikes. The planet descends into chaos: entire regions are wiped off the face of the earth, infrastructure is destroyed, and resources are drastically reduced. Four powers — the ADF (Asian Democratic Federation), WEA (West European Alliance), WLF (World Liberation Front), and AC (American Confederation) — enter into a fierce struggle for control over surviving resources and preservation of their states and interests. This is the universe in which the events of Deep Impact unfold.
Deep Impact was created by the same developers who created a number of popular mods for Generals Zero Hour, such as: Project Raptor, Pro:Gen, NProject Mod, C&C: Untitled, Zero Hour Reborn, and others. But for some reason they rarely polish their mods to perfection, and Deep Impact, unfortunately, did not escape this fate.
Of the two factions West European Alliance and Asian Democratic Federation, only the first is fully complete, while the second is a raw version without icons and with repetitive voice acting. You can only play on several simple maps, the game has balance issues, and there is no AI for the new factions, so opponents can only be GLA or China's tank general.
