Command & Conquer: Generals 2 is a Chinese developers' attempt to create that very sequel to Generals that was never released.

Scorched Earth is a large-scale overhaul of Red Alert 2 that preserves the canon while making factions more unique, adding new units, and improving balance. The AI has become extremely tough, and weapons more deadly. New maps, objects, and terrain elements have also been added.

C&C: Battlegrounds — a mod for Yuri's Revenge that brings to life ideas from the cancelled Renegade 2 game, but on the Red Alert 2 engine. It adds a new campaign and the Scavengers faction, revamped graphics, music, and interface, while preserving classic gameplay.

Freeserf is a project aimed at recreating the game engine of the first part of The Settlers I (Serf City, 1993). The remake reproduces the familiar gameplay - settlement building, resource management, courier work, logistics, and economy remain almost unchanged, preserving the nostalgic spirit and atmosphere of the original.

Stronghold 2 Crusader is a mod that brings Stronghold 2 to the Middle East during the Crusades. Numerous new textures, sounds, and graphics create an impressive atmosphere of the desert and crusaders, and the mod also adds a new Crusader campaign.
