Afraid of Monsters is a Half-Life mod that transforms the game into an atmospheric survival horror experience. It features completely new maps, monster models, sound design, and a unique storyline. Afraid of Monsters has a unique system that records which endings you've seen. Viewing the endings will affect how the game plays. If you wish to reset the game to its original state and remove the ending saves, double click the provided batch file Delete Saved Ending Info.bat and your saves will be removed. Ensure you really do want to delete your ending saves, as they cannot be restored once deleted. Deleting your ending saves will NOT affect your ordinary game saves.
Afraid of Monsters: Dark Assistance is a cooperative mod and a continuation of the original Afraid of Monsters game. Players team up to navigate new dark levels, encountering updated and new monsters while utilizing the help of mysterious "dark assistants." The mod maintains the atmosphere of psychological horror, adding cooperative gameplay and new mechanics.
