Installation Instructions engine Serflings
Extract the files to any folder.
Copy the data file from the original game to the same folder as Serflings.
Alternatively, you can place the data file in ~/.local/share/Serflings
You can use the data file from either the DOS or Amiga game version.
In the DOS version, the data file is named SPAE.PA, SPAD.PA, SPAF.PA, or SPAU.PA depending on the game language.
In the Amiga version, these are the files gfxheader, gfxfast, gfxchip, gfxpics, sounds, music.
Play!
If the History Edition was installed in the default path, copying is not required.
The game will look for files in the following paths in the given order:
Current directory; usually the location of the exe or jar file.
Subdirectory data.
(Windows only) Default path for History Edition: C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\games\thesettlers\loca
The remake is compatible with both DOS version files and History Edition files.
