Horn of the Abyss is the best global fan mod for Heroes of Might and Magic III. Unlike other modifications that drastically change the gameplay, this one continues the concept of official expansions and, guided by the principle of "do no harm," improves gameplay, game balance, and graphics without changing the mechanics of the original game.

Half-Life 1: Ray Traced — A fan remaster of the classic game on the GoldSrc engine with ray tracing support. The mod adds modern global illumination, reflections, and enhanced visual effects while preserving the original Half-Life atmosphere.

H5X — a mod for Heroes of Might & Magic V inspired by the Heroes 5.5 mod and created for fun, replayability, and uniqueness, rather than perfectly balanced PvP, although balance isn't completely abandoned.

Legend of the Red Dragon is a mod for HoMM3 created on the ERA platform. It expands the game by adding new creatures, spells, artifacts, heroes and interface improvements, as well as graphical changes for some locations and castles.

Brutal Doom 64 is a mod for Doom that enhances the dark atmosphere of the original through new lighting, sound, animations, and reworked enemies. It makes the game more violent and intense while preserving the overall tone of Doom 64 and adding elements from Brutal Doom.
