Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines is a cult role-playing game released in 2004 by Troika Games and published by Activision. The game is based on the famous tabletop RPG system World of Darkness and immerses players in a dark and mysterious world of vampires hiding among humans.
Players take on the role of a newly turned vampire who must survive and find their place in the dangerous and politically charged city of Los Angeles, filled with rival clans and intrigues. The gameplay combines RPG elements with nonlinear storytelling, exploration of open locations, combat mechanics allowing both stealthy and direct confrontations, as well as an advanced skill and supernatural abilities system - disciplines.
