Selo's Car Pack

The largest and highest quality mod for FlatOut 2, adding dozens of new cars to the game — both original and borrowed from FlatOut 1 and Ultimate Carnage. Among them are fun models like Rocketman (a car shaped like a racer with a jet engine on their back) or a supermarket cart converted into a kart, as well as real cars like the '82 Civic or '68 Mustang GT. Now you can choose any stunt car in regular races and derbies, and new cars are available for purchase in career mode.

Additionally, the mod ports all tracks from FlatOut 1, adds new ones — such as Timberlands 4 and Water Canal 4 — as well as reverse versions of some tracks. There are many quality of life improvements: new car skins, the ability to choose nickname color and avatar from a large selection.

And importantly — all of this works in a separate multiplayer created specifically for this mod. You don't need to configure anything: just enter online mode and play as in vanilla FlatOut 2. The only thing that might be challenging is finding opponents, but you can always join the active FlatOut Discord community and find people to play with.

FlatOut 2 Chloe Online

A mod that adds an alternative online mode for FlatOut 2, supporting up to 127 players simultaneously instead of 8 in the original game. It also offers flexible race settings — for example, the ability to remove the speed limit on cars and even chat during races. Advanced users can adjust the tickrate, and the only drawback is that all players must be on the same network — for example, via a program like Radmin VPN. However, you can also play alone by setting up bots as opponents. Compatible with the Selo's Car Pack mod.

FlatOut Online Play Support

A mod that restores the functionality of FlatOut 1's online mode without using VPN or LAN services.

Single Race Options for FlatOut 2

A mod that allows more flexible single race configuration, selecting the number of laps and bots, as well as AI difficulty level and much more. Very useful in combination with the FlatOut 2 Time Trial Ghosts mod.

FlatOut 2 Map Zoom

A useful small mod that allows switching between several minimap modes — for example, displaying it entirely rather than just a portion, which increases awareness during races. The mod also allows completely disabling the HUD for better immersion or creating beautiful screenshots.

FlatOut UC Chloe Collection

The most extensive mod in the entire series, which not only fixes what fans complained about in Ultimate Carnage — overly simplified physics — but also adds tons of new content and improvements. Now you can switch to FlatOut 2 physics, disable wall sliding, and flexibly configure the game.

FlatOut UC Chloe Collection also introduces many small but useful features: changing career difficulty, suspension damage (like in FlatOut 1), configuring the number of bots in career and single races, selecting soundtracks from three parts of the series or custom compilations that sound just as good as the original.

Additionally, the mod significantly expands content. Tracks and cars from not only FlatOut 1 and FlatOut 2 have been added to the game, but also dozens of tracks from the little-known Bugbear Entertainment game — Tough Trucks: Modified Monsters (2003), as well as from the FlatOut 1 demo version (Bugbear Retro Demo). A second career mode has been added — rally from the studio's early project, Rally Trophy, where you participate in time-based rally races on tracks from that game in those cars. The main career has also been changed: instead of stunt events, rally stages have now been added.

The mod supports online play, however, for this you need to be on the same virtual local network — for example, through Radmin VPN.

FlatOut 1 Chloe Collection

FlatOut 1 Chloe Collection is the largest mod for FlatOut 1 by the same author as the FlatOut UC Chloe Collection mod. It not only fixes old problems, like the inability to play multiple music tracks during one race and camera behavior on sharp turns, but also adds many new features.

Now you can switch between three series soundtracks or choose a custom track selection; disable the suspension damage system; choose one of two new control modes that make car behavior more realistic, closer to a simulator. Small but important changes have also been made: the ability to earn money for collisions with opponents in career and receive nitro for keeping the car airborne — features introduced by Bugbear Entertainment only starting from FlatOut 2.

Among major additions are two new modes: Arcade Race, ported from Ultimate Carnage, and Time Trial, where you can configure races, set your own records, and compete against your ghost. The new career mode is now more similar to what was in FlatOut 2, with a cup system, finals for each class, and changed progression. Cars and tracks from FlatOut 2 have also been added. Online play support with the ability to compete against AI opponents online if there are no real players, as well as split-screen play for up to four players. And much more.

Currently, FlatOut 1 Chloe Collection is the best mod for FlatOut 1. Its author Chloe is doing what the developers themselves could have done if they had continued working on the game. Simply incredible work!

ZPatch FO1 | ZPatch FO2 | ZPatch FOUC

Mods that fix FOV for widescreen displays, remove FPS limitations, and introduce many other improvements.

With the release of updates for the series' games, ZPatch has become somewhat less relevant, however even now its FOV configuration remains better compared to modern versions. Among the downsides — there may be minor HUD display issues due to lack of mod support, but during races everything works well.

ZMenu FlatOut + Chaos Mod | ZMenu FlatOut 2 + Chaos Mod ZMenu | FlatOut UC + Chaos Mod

Powerful trainers for three games in the series, containing hundreds of effects — from simple ones like infinite nitro to "god mode": weather changes, blowing up all opponents, car swapping, changing airborne car physics to GTA-like and much more.

FlatOut 1 Alternate Textures And Physics

An interesting mod that makes the first part of the series more similar to the second, without the global changes of the FlatOut 1 Chloe Collection mod. Car physics have been reworked — now they have higher tire grip, like in FlatOut 2, allowing them to drive faster, making races more difficult and dynamic. Camera behavior on sharp turns has also been fixed and a cockpit view has been added.

FlatOut 2 Time Trial Ghosts | FlatOut UC Time Trial Ghosts

Two mods for FlatOut 2 and Ultimate Carnage that add a ghost of your best lap to the game and save it even after exiting the game. Additionally, the mods remove all bots so they don't interfere with setting new best times, but they do this everywhere, even in career mode, so the mod has a drawback. A similar mode is already present in the FlatOut 1 Chloe Collection and FlatOut UC Chloe Collection mods, where it's designed as a separate game mode — Time Trial.
