GenPatcher is a utility for Command & Conquer: Generals and Zero Hour that automatically fixes bugs, improves compatibility with modern systems, and restores multiplayer functionality. It can also download and install mods for the game with just a few clicks.

Online Play in Command & Conquer: Generals and Zero Hour
If you install GenTool through GenPatcher, you'll be able to play Generals & Zero Hour online. Simply follow these steps:
Register on the C&C Online website here.
Activate your account via email.
Your C&C Online account is also a Revora forums account.
After account activation, log in and create server login credentials on the C&C Online page:
Server username
Server email
Server password
Launch Generals or Zero Hour.
In network settings, your IP address should match your home network to connect online, i.e., 192.168.x.x.
In the game's main menu, go to the multiplayer online menu and log in using the C&C Online credentials you created earlier.

Note: if you experience connection issues with other players online, launch GenPatcher and go to the "Online Play" tab. Now activate network optimizations to facilitate connecting to other players.
Possible Issues
Some antivirus software may incorrectly identify GenPatcher as malware because it makes changes to game files. Therefore, it's recommended to temporarily disable your antivirus before downloading and running GenPatcher.
