Cossacks II: Napoleonic Wars is a real-time strategy game developed by Ukrainian studio GSC Game World, released in 2005. The game continues the Cossacks series but shifts the setting from the 17th-18th centuries to the Napoleonic Wars of the early 19th century. The focus is on realistic, large-scale land battles involving tens of thousands of soldiers.

Compared to the first game, Cossacks II significantly changed gameplay priorities. Economy and building were simplified: players no longer build full bases; resources come from captured settlements. Construction is limited to military infrastructure needed to prepare armies. Naval battles were completely removed, with emphasis now on ground maneuvers, troop morale and fatigue, officer use, and realistic formations.

Players can play single-player campaigns for France, Russia, Great Britain, Prussia, Austria, and Egypt, each reflecting historical events of the era. Besides campaigns, there are quick battle modes and multiplayer for network or local play.

Despite a narrower historical period and abandonment of some traditional mechanics, Cossacks II: Napoleonic Wars was praised for its battle scale, era atmosphere, and tactical depth. However, some fans criticized the game for moving away from the classic formula of the original Cossacks, especially due to lack of naval battles and limited building options.
